"We can’t predict all the struggles and storms in life, not even the ones just around the next corner, but as persons of faith and hope, we know beyond the shadow of any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the best is yet to come." - L. Tom Perry

Saturday

Saturday we went to the Arizona Capitol Museum. It was nice to take a little day trip with the family. The kids loved it, even Heidi. The director of the museum was there and started up a conversation with Phil. He was pretty insightful and made the visit more interesting. Plus, Phil was able to get some information to help with with... you guessed it - family history. Turns out this guy is not only the director of the museum, but of the Arizona State Library- Archives and Public Records. He knows a lot about where to go to find info and historical records. He directed us to the Arizona Railway Museum in Chandler and also printed out some info on what Arizona historical records are available and where to find them. Great day for everyone and now we have another fun place to go visit as a family.
